A test kit is supplied with full instructions to allow samples to be collected in the client's own home followed by a confidential laboratory analysis service with results being returned to the client within 10 days. A professionally manned telephone helpline is also available during normal working hours.

The MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit (MRC PPU) carries out fundamental research aimed at understanding the physiological roles of protein kinases, phosphatases, and enzymes critical to the ubiquitylation pathway.  The MRC PPU also helps to accelerate the development of small molecule therapeutics directed against these enzymes through a major collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry. Given our expertise in this field, we have developed a number of key reagents -- including cDNA plasmids, proteins and antibodies -- that are available at cost to investigators in academia.  Moreover, we are happy to work with investigators at any institute or commercial entity who is looking to generate these reagents for their own research endeavors.   We specialize in DNA Sequencing, Kinase Profiling, Antibody Generation, Protein Generation and Mass Spectrometry, as well as consultation around each of these services.  Please contact us with any enquiries you may have.
