With respect to the School of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee:

The twelve major BSc Honours degree programmes offered in Biological and Biomedical Sciences have accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology. In addition, all the integrated masters (MSci) programmes have advanced accreditation from the Society.  All of the courses are regularly ranked in the top 10 in the UK for their subject (Complete University Guide 2022, Times Good University Guide 2022).  Students routinely report high levels of satisfaction – in the 2021 National Student Survey, and ranked 7th in the UK for student satisfaction in Biosciences (non-specific).

Real research experience opportunities
The University of Dundee offer a number of summer research internships for undergraduates, giving students invaluable experience of working in our research laboratories (outside term-time) during the summer months. The schemes are open to both University of Dundee students and those from elsewhere, including international students.
