Scottish students and graduates can take the next steps in their healthcare careers when the University of Dundee hosts one of the sector’s largest employment events.
Healthcare providers, health boards and the armed forces will be among the dozens of employers in attendance as the University hosts its annual Nursing Recruitment Fair.
Hundreds of students and graduates from Dundee, as well as from other universities across Scotland, are expected to attend the event at the University’s Bonar Hall on Wednesday 4 February. The event allows prospective employees to speak with recruiters one-on-one to learn more about how they can implement their qualifications in a variety of workplaces.
Alison Mackay, from the University’s Career Service, said, “Our annual Nursing Recruitment Fair is hugely popular with students, graduates and employers and for many it could facilitate the first steps in their healthcare career.
“We are proud of the education we provide our students and graduates and events like this give them the opportunity to determine where and how they want to use their qualifications.
“We know that nursing and allied professions can be hugely rewarding, and this event is a great showcase of just how many options are available once qualified. The chance to meet with employers and see how and where they can take their next career steps is potentially life changing.”
The University of Dundee Nursing Recruitment Fair takes place in the Bonar Hall, Park Place, on Wednesday 4 February from 11:00 - 14:00. Attendance is free but registration in advance is required and can be completed via the University website.
