Mylnefield Lipid Analysis is hosting a webinar showcasing the laboratory’s abilities on Tuesday 25th May 2021, 12pm – 1pm (BST).

Four presenters, including Head of Mylnefield Lipid Analysis, Claire Traynor, will focus on quality control testing of lipid products and the identification of associated contaminants to support product specification, problem solving developmental analysis and technical troubleshooting and, the webinar will include details of complementary techniques from the James Hutton Institute.

Mylnefield Lipid Analysis is part of the James Hutton Institute’s commercial subsidiary (James Hutton Limited) and was founded in 1995 at its Dundee site by Professor Frank Gunstone and Dr Bill Christie. Frank and Bill led the lab to secure a worldwide reputation for excellence in lipids. Their legacy continues now with regular customers sending samples to the laboratory from all over the world.

The laboratory is fully accredited to ISO9001:2015 standards and regularly participates in international ring testing. It is also one of the few laboratories in the world that has been approved by both the UK MHRA and the US FDA for GMP analysis of oils and fats and has undergone a successful GCP inspection by the MHRA.

The webinar will be held from 12pm until 1pm, to include a 30 minute presentation followed by question and answers. Questions can be submitted during the webinar but can also be asked prior to the event at the point of registration, or by emailing laura.paterson@huttonltd.com
