Dr South is Executive Director for the Maltsters’ Association of Great Britain (MAGB) and has worked in the food and drinks industry for over 40 years. He will explain how the malting industry delivers the crucial first step in transforming barley into beer and whisky. Julian will describe what malting looks like today and how the MAGB plays a key role in its success.
