Join us on 6pm Wednesday 21 June at the Dalhousie Lecture Theatre 3 to hear from guest speaker Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter on the topic of Communicating Statistical Evidence in Court and in Public Inquiries.
Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter FRS OBE is a professor of statistics and previous Chair of the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication, which aimed to improve the way that statistical evidence is used by health professionals, patients, lawyers and judges, media and policy-makers.
The event will be available both in-person and virtually. After the lecture we will serve some light refreshments.
