Previous Pitch Perfect Participants:
"Pitch perfect is a great opportunity to practice an investment pitch before speaking to investors. I didn’t win in 2017 but the panel always give helpful feedback and in 2018 I won! Winning the competition is a great way to make your company known. It also gives you the confidence that your business and your pitch works and that forming a business really could happen." Andrew Woodland - In4Derm
“Pitch Perfect was a great opportunity to home pitching skills and get feedback on our business idea. We’ve grown our company to 15 people over the last year and are now looking at international expansion” Dr Debbie Wake from MyWay Digital Health.
"My experience presenting as a finalist for the Pitch Perfect competition was really rewarding, I felt really lucky to take part and have the opportunity to present my business, even though at a relatively early stage. I have made a couple of really useful connections as a consequence, and have a much better understanding of the kinds of business support available in the bio-related industry." Jennifer Rao-Williams, J-Rao Limited
"Pitching at BioDundee was the best thing I did for trying to get my company idea, off the ground. The people at the Elevator Dundee were excellent and very helpful in training me to pitch. The event itself, while a bit nerve wracking, was well worth the effort, as I made extremely useful buisness contacts immediately after the pitch." Fertility Genomics
"As a first pitching event, BioDundee was excellent start, giving me plenty to think and act on in the following months." Navigate Precision Oncology
"Taking part in BioDundee's Pitch Perfect competition was an opportunity to hone my pitching skills, profile my company in front of potential customers, and also receive feedback and ideas from an expert panel of judges. Since pitching a few years ago, people have often said they remembered my pitch, so you never know when the impact to the business might come. It is a fun experience and part and parcel of being an entrepreneur!" Dr. Mhairi Towler, Founder and CEO of Vivomotion
