Dr Jonathan Snape

Jonathan has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He has worked for both multinationals (Unilever and IBM) and prestigious academic institutions (ETH-Zurich, Japanese National Food Research Institute and the Czech Academy of Sciences) in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the Czech Republic. Since 1997, he has worked for the commercial subsidiary of the James Hutton Institute (and its predecessors) and since 2016 has been Head of James Hutton Ltd. He has an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and was a member of the Life Sciences Advisory Board for the Scottish Government.
