Thistle Bioscience Showcase and SE Life Science Dinner
As business competition becomes even more intense, it is more important than ever for your business to stand out from the crowd and for every member of your team to connect and network with potential and existing customers, collaborators and investors. For this reason, BIA Scotland will showcase some of the most creative and nimble emerging companies and will bring together key players and investors from across the UK to connect and network at the BIA Scotland Thistle Bioscience Showcase in Edinburgh on 5 February 2009. A selected mix of companies will have 15 minutes each to deliver their concept, their business model, their technologies and/or know-how and their ambitions for development, all under the critical eyes of a panel of experts from the life sciences industry. This ‘Dragon’s Den’ type grilling will not only show how companies are weathering current economical challenges, but will also provide constructive feedback on many aspects of development which all businesses face. The winner will be Awarded Rising Star Award 2009.
We also have two outstanding keynote presentations lined up. More details to be annouced shortly.

The Showcase is a key event in the Scottish Life Sciences industry calendar, and is timed to coincide with the Scottish Enterprise Life Science Awards Dinner in Edinburgh on the evening of Thursday February 5 (separate event registration via Scottish Enterprise)
