The new Clinical Research Centre Tayside at Ninewells has been described as the "latest jewel" in Dundee's biomedical crown by its Director, Professor Alastair Thompson. The £10.5 million custom-built CRC is capable of delivering far-reaching advances in healthcare and will be used to develop new approaches in clinical research, acting as a 'hub for clinicians, surgeons and researchers. The facilities include an Imaging floor designed to accommodate MRI and PET scanners and a Clinical Research floor with a range of ward areas, laboratories and office accommodation.
As part of the BioDundee company visit programme Cameron Glen has kindly agreed to give an overview of the facilities available at the Clinical Research Centre Tayside, as well as a concise insight into the collaborative opportunities that exist.
This event is an ideal opportunity to increase your knowledge of our local Life Science sector and to network with bioscience colleagues working in Tayside. We encourage attendance from business, healthcare and academic communities.
